THE MEN'S MINISTRY

The Women's Ministry at WLFC is for women of all ages, backgrounds, and seasons of life. We have our Young Women's Christian Council (YWCC) which is for women ages 18-39, and out Christian Women's Council (CWC) for women ages 40 and up. Our goal is to encourage women to worship our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ through the study and application of Scripture and the deepening of relationships with other women for fellowship and accountability. We desire to help women recognize the gifts and talents God has uniquely blessed them with, discover how they may best use them to glorify His Name, and actively seek to equip women to accomplish all that the Lord has planned for them.

We want all of our youth to know Jesus Christ and to find their ultimate joy and satisfaction in Him. We have designed our youth ministry to deepen understanding of the greatness of our God, and to give encouragement in the pursuit of godliness. At WLFC we believe it’s our responsibility, not only as adults but as “leaders,” to lead our children down the right path. We want our children to be enabled to take their knowledge of God's love and direction and apply it to their everyday lives. Our desire is to help children know, grow and show God`s love by providing a safe environment to learn and have fun. We believe our job is to stay focused in God and stay strong in our studies and prayer so that we can be strong leaders for the children. Through being sensitive to the Holy Spirit, the teachers and helpers of the Children's Church will endeavor to teach the Word of God to the children so that they will have a strong foundation and their relationship with God will grow, and so that, as we teach the children, they may apply it to every aspect of their lives, both at

 Welcome to the ministry of Christian education at WLFC. We believe that this ministry is the foundation for lifelong learning and growth toward a mature and vital faith. With intentional learning and Christian formation, we become the people God calls us to be, and we develop gifts and strengths for encouraging and leading others to the same strong faith. The ministry is looking forward to providing additional course offerings to address a wide variety of biblical subjects and doctrinal truths, in addition to enhancing our current curriculum. Growth and development of our disciples and community are paramount to our walk with Christ and building His Kingdom. .

  
The ministry of evangelism here at WLFC is designed primarily to win and revive personal relationships and commitment to Jesus Christ through the development, promotion, and support of all forms and phases of evangelism through the local community and among the current members of our church. We strive to promote church growth, worship, and celebration, the practice of prayer, and the use of hymns and music in praise of God, the reading of the Bible in public and in private; and to bring the membership to an understanding of the theological meaning of Christian stewardship and its application to his/her life, including the use of time, influence, personal abilities, and material resources. At the core of its function, evangelism is intended to be the greatest portion of ministry within the church, requiring the greatest number of participants to bring the type of change and impact we hope to see in the lives of those we touch.   .
